A Front Porch Party in Amalfi Style: Lemon-Themed Bridal Shower
We love opening our home and sharing the farm with friends, and Nina’s bridal shower was the sweetest excuse to gather for a lemon Amalfi coast bridal shower. About 30 of us filled the front porch, while the dining room table and kitchen island were full of delicious Georgian and Russian dishes. It was such a special day celebrating her and David, surrounded by laughter and good company.

The Vibe & Bridal Shower Games
The middle of summer in North Carolina is very hot and humid, so the goal was to brighten up the atmosphere as much as possible with light yellows and blues. For the centerpieces, I got fresh lemons along with fresh florals- eucalyptus, white roses, and baby’s breath from Trader Joe’s. I had some runners that we used from previous events; honestly the best thing to do if you’re on a budget is to find scrap fabric and make it work!

The welcome table included:
- “Guestbook“: Envelopes for guests to write their names on to make thank you cards easier for the bride
- Advice for the bride & groom cards: a sweet little game to fill out for the bride and groom to read and savor throughout their marriage!
- Bride or Groom?: This was a fun game we played indoors after the guests finished eating and before Nina started opening her presents. Simple and fun!

For the place settings, we wanted to keep cleanup simple so we did paper plates from amazon and gorgeous vintage-style plastic silverware in gold to bring the feel of luxury into the tablescape.
Each place setting included:
- Paper plates and napkins (set includes dinner and dessert plates plus napkins for 50 people)
- Gold Vintage Silverware (set of 180)
- Favor: cookies by Anna Simeonides of To Your Health Bakery
