About the Rusu’s

In 2022, we left California for North Carolina, settling on a 7.5-acre homestead to begin a new chapter rooted more deeply in our values. Stepping away from the fast pace of modern life, we chose a slower, more intentional way of living—one shaped by the rhythms of the land and the seasons. Life in the countryside has given us the space to build a home that is meaningful, abundant, and regenerative. Our vision is to steward a peaceful farm grounded in sustainability, biodiversity, and organic practices, while extending hospitality and a true sense of home to all who visit.
